The New Leica Disto D2 has taken all of the best features of the world famous and extremely popular Disto D2 and added Bluetooth 4.0 to create a powerful new laser distance meter at a great price.

In addition to the capability to transmit measured values to a wide variety of software programs and apps on PC's, iPad/iPhones, and Android devices, the New Leica Disto D2 with Bluetooth also has an improved 330 foot range, while offering accuracy within +/- 1/16th of an inch.

The flip out endpiece on the D2 has been given the ability to automatically recognize whether it is open or closed, and to instantly adjust the reference point for measurements accordingly.

The New D2 also boasts an improved 3 line display that is always backlit, eliminating the need to turn on the backlight when in spaces lacking visibility.

Largely due to the new display, the battery life on the new Disto D2 with Bluetooth has been improved to give the D2 the capability to take up to 10,000 measurements between battery changes.

The New Disto D2 includes area and volume functions, two point and three point triangulation, or Pythagoras functions, and stores the last ten measured values in memory for later recall. A timer function is also included,

The new Disto D2 with Bluetooth works wih the Leica Disto Transfer and DIsto Sketch apps, as well as software from Xactimate on the iPad/iPhone and MeasureSquare.
